Step 6. Finally, you restart IE or the other browser you’re using, then see if the issue is resolved.

Method 2. Reset TCP/IP

You can also be able to solve ‘Windows could not automatically detect this network’s proxy settings‘ by resetting TCP/IP.  To do that, follow these steps:

Step 1. Launch Command Prompt as administrator.
